ACA Canyon Leader | ACE Level 5 Guide

Canyoneering is beautiful, until something goes wrong. It could be one big problem, or many small problems that slip by unnoticed. Maybe you can solve them, or maybe you can’t. After one particularly eventful canyon, I realized that I was extremely unprepared to stay safe or participate as a full team member in canyons. Cue taking all the training classes!

I am certified as both an ACA Canyon Leader and ACE L5 Guide through Uber Adventures, and have also competed Wilderness First Aid through NOLS. I love seeing beautiful places, spending time with friends, and sharing my knowledge with others so that we can all enjoy this sport safely.

I graduated from University of Arizona with a BS in Computer Science, and currently work as a software engineer.
