In this video Rich shows a variety of ways to tie and rig webbing on single-point anchors to address issues that include position, redundancy, strength, efficiency and equalization. Rich also demonstrates three different ways to set up courtesy rigging for rappels.

What better way to get familiar with the new breaking machine than to destroy some rope! For this test we took a 3' single strand of new C.S.T. canyoneering rope and tied it with a double fisherman's knot. Looped though the eye bolts, the rope was then pulled to destruction.

Taking advantage of some recent weather here in AZ a group of us headed to the Mazatzal Range and had a good run through Shake Tree Canyon. Opted for the bypass on R5, because a previous rap nearly froze my skull.
