New Release of Illiam Canyon:

AKA "Ill-I-AM" when during the exploratory voyage our team member realized he had a sickness for finding exploratory canyons!

This Canyon is the last of the I’s (and the first) was discovered in 2016 and will require participants to ascend 2,000 feet in elevation to start the journey. This canyon is generally dry and descends through unique and interesting terrain of West Fork of Oak Creek. We will meet at the Call of the Canyon trailhead (Westfork) at 8 am and will likely finish around 4 pm.

This trip is in Sedona, AZ and is roughly 2 hours away from our campsite. It is advised to camp in the area the night before or show up early and ready to go as anyone late will be left behind.

Danger

This is a recently discovered, but unpublished canyon along the west fork of oak creek. This is a Big Day, Experience and Endurance required as the elevation gain is strong and the canyon has technically challenging sections. You will be carrying your technical gear up the AB-Young Trail to get the day started. This is not a guided trip and all participants must be aware and willing to look after their personal safety. We will coordinate logistics here prior to the trip so it can be further evaluated on a individual basis.
